PATH Act filer 1/23 - When can I expect my refund?
Filed my taxes on january 23rd and I'm under PATH act (claiming EIC). My WMR still shows received. Anyone know when I should expect my refund? Getting worried since its my first time claiming EIC.

PATH Act means the IRS legally cant release refunds before Feb 15th for returns with EIC/ACTC. Most PATH filers should see deposits hit between Feb 20-27th, assuming no other issues with your return.

WMR usually updates to approved about 5-7 days before deposit, but sometimes it can lag behind. Keep an eye on your bank account too!

Instead of playing the guessing game, I'd recommend using taxr.ai - it analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly where you are in the process and when to expect your refund. Its $4.99 but worth every penny for the peace of mind. https://taxr.ai

Yeah its legit! The AI reads your transcript and explains everything in plain english. Saved me hours of googling random codes
