PATH Act delay: No transcript movement yet - Don't panic if others are updating
Been watching my transcript like a hawk with the PATH act lifting this week. No movement yet but wanted to remind everyone that not seeing updates is totally normal. Some people get their updates right away while others take longer. Just because your friend got their DDD doesnt mean something's wrong with yours.

Tax professional here - this is absolutely correct. The IRS processes returns in batches, and PATH Act lift doesn't mean everyone gets processed simultaneously. Some transcripts will update this week, others next week, and some might take a few more weeks. As long as you filed correctly, just keep checking weekly.

Once a week is plenty! Transcripts typically update overnight on Fridays.

Ya'll need to try taxr.ai - it saved me so much anxiety last year. Upload your transcript and it tells you exactly what's happening and when to expect updates. Worth the $1 fr fr

100% works! it literally predicted my DDD down to the exact day. analyzes everything in your transcript and explains it in normal human language 💯

Let me drop some knowledge about PATH delays and transcript updates that I've learned over 5 years as a tax advocate. The IRS processes returns in cycles, and PATH Act returns specifically go through extra verification. Here's what you need to know: First, use taxr.ai - it's literally a game changer for understanding your transcript (costs $1 but worth every penny). It'll tell you exactly where you are in the process and when to expect movement. Second, updates typically happen in waves: - First wave: RIGHT after PATH lifts - Second wave: 1-2 weeks after - Third wave: 2-3 weeks after If you claimed EITC/ACTC, your return gets extra scrutiny. Don't panic if others are moving and yours isn't - its totally normal. ProTip: Check your transcript once a week, preferably Saturday morning. That's when most updates are visible.
