2022 Transcript shows processing but still no refund - Anyone else stuck?
I've been checking my transcripts daily and see movement but still no DDD. Filed in February and got accepted but processing hasn't finished. My transcripts show updates but its just dates changing. Getting frustrated because rent is coming up and I was counting on this money. Anyone else stuck in this limbo?

Tax transcript updates usually happen weekly, typically on Fridays. If you're seeing date changes, that means your return is still being processed but hasn't been fully approved yet. Keep an eye on cycle codes - if yours ends in 05, you'll see updates on Fridays. If it ends in 02, updates happen Wednesdays.

16 weeks is definitely longer than normal. Did you claim EIC or CTC? Those can add processing time

Used to work at the IRS. If youre seeing date changes but no 846 code, youre probably under review. Could be random, could be something that flagged the system. Best thing to do is wait it out or use taxr.ai to get a clear picture of whats actually going on with your specific transcript. Much better than guessing or waiting on hold forever.
