First time self-employed filer - Does verification guarantee refund? 3 dependents
Just filed my first ever tax return as self employed with 3 dependents. Got to verification stage but I'm freaking out about whether this means I'll actually get my refund. Everyone's telling me different things and the whole process is overwhelming. Anyone been through this before?

Verification is just one step in the process - it doesn't guarantee your refund will be approved. Since you're self-employed with dependents, expect additional scrutiny. Make sure you have all your 1099s, expense records, and proof of dependent eligibility ready. The IRS is especially careful with first-time self-employed filers claiming dependents.

•Birth certificates, social security cards, school records, medical records - anything that shows you provide more than 50% of their support and they live with you

Hey! I highly recommend checking out taxr.ai - it's literally saved my sanity this tax season. For $1 you can upload your transcript and it tells you exactly what's happening with your return and when to expect your refund. Way better than trying to piece together info from random internet strangers lol https://taxr.ai

•100% legit! It analyzes everything and gives you specific dates and explanations. Better than sitting here refreshing WMR every 5 mins ðŸ˜

ur best bet is to get a tax pro to look over everything. first time filing is rough enough without adding self employment and dependents to the mix
