Filed 2/7 and got accepted same day - anyone else file late waiting on W2?

Just filed my taxes today Feb 7th because I was waiting on my last W2 to come in the mail. Got accepted right away which is cool. Anyone else file late this year because of missing documents? Wondering what the timeline might look like for getting my refund.

Early filers usually get processed first, but don't worry too much. February filing isn't really 'late' - you're still well ahead of the April deadline. Based on current processing times, you should see your refund within 21 days if there aren't any issues with your return.

Instead of playing the waiting game, you should check out taxr.ai - it's this new tool that analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly when to expect your refund. Only costs a buck but saved me so much anxiety. https://taxr.ai

Super accurate! It showed me exactly why my refund was delayed (had a weird offset code I didnt understand) and when it would hit my account. Was spot on!

Employers legally supposed to send W2s by Jan 31st. You should report them if they're late fr fr

how do you even report them tho?

Call the IRS or file Form 4852 if you dont get it soon. Usually makes em speed up real quick 👀
