Amended Return Shows Completed Status - What's Next for Getting My Refund?
Just checked my transcript and my amended return status changed to completed. No idea what happens next or when I'll actually see the money. Been waiting since last year and finally got movement. Anyone know the next steps or timeline?

The completed status is good news! Usually takes about 2-3 weeks for the refund to hit your account after that. Make sure your direct deposit info is correct on the return. You should see an 846 code on your transcript when the refund is scheduled.

It'll be on your account transcript, usually at the bottom with the most recent dates. Look for 'Refund issued' next to it

Same boat as you! Mine completed last week. Called IRS and they said 2-4 weeks is standard but could be faster
