Finally Got DDD (12-04-2024) for 2023 Tax Refund After 8-Month Wait with Freeze Codes

After months of checking WMR and transcripts every single day, I finally see movement! I just checked my account transcript today and I see a deposit date scheduled for next week (12-04-2024)! For anyone else still waiting, there is hope. My transcript shows: FORM NUMBER: 1040 TAX PERIOD: Dec. 31, 2023 ACCOUNT BALANCE: 0.00 ACCRUED INTEREST: 0.00 AS OF: Dec. 16, 2024 ACCRUED PENALTY: 0.00 AS OF: Dec. 16, 2024 My filing status is Head of Household with AGI of $22,765.00 and taxable income of $1,572.00. My total tax per return was $3,461.00 with self-employment taxable income of $22,622.00. I can see all the transaction codes now: 150 Tax return filed - 06-17-2024 - $3,461.00 810 Refund freeze - 02-28-2024 811 Removed refund freeze - 05-08-2024 766 Credit to my account - 04-15-2024 - -$1,500.00 766 Another credit to my account - 04-15-2024 768 Earned income credit - 04-15-2024 570 Additional account action pending - 06-17-2024 971 Notice issued - 06-17-2024 971 Another notice issued - 06-24-2024 571 Resolved additional account action - 11-22-2024 846 Refund issued - 12-04-2024 I almost gave up checking after all those codes (570, 971) and the refund freeze, but I decided to look one more time today and boom - there it was! Code 846 with a refund date for next week! The 571 code from 11-22-2024 shows they resolved whatever issue they had with my return. If you're still stuck with pending account actions or freeze codes, hang in there. Mine took from April all the way until December, but it's finally happening!
