EIC and CTC Refund Question: $41K income, 2 kids, no federal withholding

Filing my taxes and need help calculating my potential refund. Made $41,000 last year with 2 dependents but my W2 shows zero federal withholding. Anyone know what kinda refund I might get with EIC and child tax credit?

Make sure ur kids qualify as dependents under IRS rules. They gotta live with u more than half the year and provide less than half their own support.

Tax refund estimate with 2 dependents and $1k withholding - need help calculating

Need help figuring out my refund for next year. I have two kids that I can claim as dependents and about $1,000 in taxes taken from my paychecks. What should I expect to get back? Both kids live with me full time.

dont forget about state taxes too, that could add more to ur refund depending on where u live

Make sure ur claiming all possible credits - EIC, Child Tax Credit, Child Care expenses if u have any. That $1000 withholding seems pretty low tho tbh

When Will 2024 IRS Transcript Be Available? Filed Yesterday But SBTPG Shows $7,933 Refund Activity Already

I just filed my taxes yesterday through TurboTax and I want to check my transcript to see when I'll get my refund. When I try to look at my transcript online it says N/A for 2024. I'm a little concerned because I already see some activity on my SBTPG account (Santa Barbara Tax Products Group). I can see the following transactions in my SBTPG account: Amount(s) paid to you: $7,933.60 Date posted: - Advance: $47,000.00 - 1/31/24 - $27,000.00 less fees (IRS) - 2/23/24 - $4,000.00 less fees (MI) - 3/9/24 So it looks like I've had multiple payments processed already through SBTPG (which TurboTax uses), but when I go to the IRS website to check my transcript, it just says N/A for 2024. Does anyone know how long it takes for these to show up in the IRS system after filing? I'm confused because SBTPG seems to show activity but the IRS doesn't have my transcript available. I filed through TurboTax and they said everything was accepted, so I'm not sure what's going on. Anyone else experiencing this or know when I should expect to see my transcript updated? I'd like to be able to see the official IRS record of my refund.

TurboTax Early Refund Program - $25 fee for 5 day advance but when exactly?

Just saw TurboTax offering this early refund thing for $25 to get your refund 5 days faster but im confused. Is it 5 days from when you file or 5 days from when IRS approves it? Anyone try this? Seems kinda sketchy tbh.

Cycle 04 (Wed Feb 7) Tax Filers: Any PATH Act Delayed Refunds Actually Received Yet? 21+ Days No Update

Filed my taxes early February and got stuck with cycle 04. I've been reading up on this and found out that cycle code 04 means Wednesday (the day your return was processed). If you translate that into a "real" date, that would be: Wednesday, February 7, 2024. Knowing this information is supposed to help me track where my return is in the process and give me a clue as to when my refund might be deposited. But despite this information from Jan 3, 2025, I still have no update on WMR or transcripts. I'm already past the 21 days the IRS says it typically takes to process returns. I check WMR daily and my transcripts several times a week, but there's absolutely nothing - no updates, no movement, no explanations. My cycle code clearly shows I was processed on a Wednesday back in early February, but here we are with no progress. Anyone else in this holding pattern with cycle 04? Starting to get worried about my refund as bills are piling up and I was counting on this money. Has anyone with cycle 04 actually received their refund this year?
