How to access and check IRS transcripts online? Need step-by-step help
Can someone tell me how to check my transcript? Been waiting on my refund for weeks and keep hearing about checking transcripts but idk where to even start. Super confused about the whole process tbh

IRS verified identity but getting conflicting info about processing times - accepted 3/7, transcript N/A
Just called IRS and went through identity verification questions (mothers maiden name, dad's name, 2021 W2 info). Agent put me on multiple holds then said I'm in processing, wait 120 days, blamed Covid backlog. Yesterday different agent said I was in errors dept with 10 week wait. WMR shows still processing, transcript N/A, accepted 3/7. Anyone know what's actually going on?

Pro tip: call early morning right when they open. You get the experienced agents who actually know whats up instead of the new hires who just read scripts

Transcript Cycle 05 Update Schedule - Just Filed 2/4, Shows Blank
Just got accepted on 2/4 and checked my transcript but its completely blank. Anyone know if cycle 05 updates tonight or if it already happened last night? Getting antsy waiting to see any movement.

Pro tip: Don't waste time refreshing WMR or transcripts constantly. Been there done that lol. Either wait it out or use something like taxr.ai to actually understand whats happening behind the scenes.

Identity Theft Tax Return: First Time Filing & Someone Already Used My SSN
Just found out someone filed using my SSN before I could even file my first tax return ever. Tried to e-file and got rejected because apparently a return was already submitted with my number. What do I even do now? This is so frustrating especially since its my first time trying to file taxes.

WMR Status Changed to Delayed - Anyone else seeing this 'We apologize' message?
Just checked WMR and got a new message saying 'We apologize, but your return processing has been delayed beyond the normal timeframe.' Filed in early February and had bars before, now they're gone. Should I be worried? My transcript still says N/A

once you get in make sure you download the Account transcript NOT the Return transcript. Account shows all the updates and codes
