2024 Michigan Return Accepted 1/29 - Info Not Matching Error - Anyone got DDD?
Filed my Michigan state return and got accepted on January 29th but now getting error saying information not matching. Getting worried since its already March. Anyone else file around same time and actually got their direct deposit date yet?

Tax pro here - the 'information not matching' error usually means there's a discrepancy between your personal info (name, SSN, etc) and what the IRS has on file. Double check that everything matches your social security card exactly. Common issues include recently married people using new last names or hyphenated names that don't match SSA records.

•Yes, sometimes it can be as simple as a typo in your W2 or your employer reported something differently. I'd recommend checking your wage transcripts.
