12 weeks of UI claims, no funds or Direct card yet. DEO overdue payments - what to do?
I've been unemployed for 3 months now and claimed 12 weeks of benefits, but I haven't received any funds or a Direct card yet. I'm overdue on claiming my weeks and I'm getting really worried. Has anyone else experienced this kind of delay? What should I do?

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/AsdxiF0IH1k

Here's what you need to do: 1. Double-check all your info is correct in the system 2. Make sure you've completed all required certifications 3. Look for any pending issues or holds on your account 4. If everything looks good, you NEED to speak with a rep 5. Be persistent - call early, call often 6. Consider reaching out to your local state representative for help 7. Document everything - dates, times, who you spoke to It sucks, but you gotta be your own advocate in this system. Don't give up!

You should be able to see any holds or issues in your online account. Look for a section called 'Issues and Determinations' or something similar. If you can't find it, that's another reason to call and speak with someone directly.

This happened to me last year. Turns out there was a glitch in there system and my claims weren't being processed. Had to file an appeal. What a nightmare 🤦♂️

It took about 6 weeks for me. But I've heard it can vary a lot. Some people get it resolved quicker, others take months. It's a crapshoot tbh

idk if this helps but I had a similar issue and it turned out my identity verification hadn't gone through properly. Might be worth checking that too

OP, whatever you do, DON'T STOP CLAIMING WEEKS! Even if you're not getting paid, keep claiming. If there's a problem and it gets fixed, they can backpay you, but only for weeks you've claimed.
