EDD payment delayed - Did they not receive my form?

Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle. I haven't received my payment yet and I'm starting to worry that maybe they didn't get my form. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not sure what to do next. Should I just wait it out or try to contact them somehow?

Ugh, I feel you. This happened to me last month. Have you tried logging into your account to check the status? Sometimes they don't notify you if there's an issue with your form.

Good advice! Also, make sure to check your spam folder. I once missed an important email from them cuz it got filtered out.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

20 bucks? Idk man, seems kinda steep just to make a phone call.

I get the skepticism, but it seriously saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

Can you give more details about how it works? Do they just keep calling until they get through?

Yeah, basically. They have some automated system that navigates the phone tree and waits on hold. When a real person picks up, it calls you. Super convenient.

Have you double-checked that you filled out the form correctly? I once messed up a date and it delayed my payment by weeks 😫

The whole system is broken af. I've been waiting on my payment for over a month now. Good luck getting any real help from them 🙄

Preach! 🙌 It's like they're purposely making it difficult for us.

C'mon guys, let's not be so negative. The people working there are probably overwhelmed too.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Log into your account and check for any pending issues or notifications. 2. If you don't see anything there, try to locate your form submission confirmation. You should have received one when you submitted it. 3. If you can't find that, gather all your documentation (pay stubs, ID, etc.) and prepare to resubmit your form. 4. Call the EDD first thing in the morning (right when they open) to speak with a representative. Be prepared to wait. 5. If you can't get through on the phone, consider sending a secure message through your online account. 6. As a last resort, you might need to visit an EDD office in person if there's one near you. Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up! And make sure to document all your attempts to contact them in case you need to prove your due diligence later.

This should be pinned at the top of the subreddit tbh. So many people have this same issue.
