CA SDI for pregnancy using Alternative Base Period? Please help. I started working in W2 from July ‘25 and I’m due in Dec ‘25. I would have already made the $300 to the CA SDI contributions. I have no contributions made in the standard base period. Am I eligible for the benefits using ABP? How can I file my claim online?

•@Mei Lin Hi Mei, Thank you for the detailed answer. Would it be better if I did the paperwork and applied through the mail than online? I have read some comments in this forum where that has worked for folks. Everytime I try calling that number, I get disconnected after a long wait.
