Thanks Claimyr! I called to backdate my claim to April of this year and called this Tuesday 9/7 and spoke to a tier 1 rep. Called again the following day to make sure he had put in request and he said yes he was able to verify. My claim had been on pending for a couple of weeks prior to this because of name change and the reason that I filed for unemployment which I told them I had to voluntarily quit due to COVID reasons and had to take care of my sick mother. Yesterday I decided to call EDD to know my pending status and was told I had to have a “determination interview” to see if I would qualify for benefits and that would take anywhere between 2-3 months. What!! Well lo and behold just checked my UI online and all my weeks were there! Just certified every single one of them and said paid! Thanks again Claimyr! Hang in there guys you will get your stuff situated! Persistence is key

I have phone interview tomorrow and have been trying to reschedule. I called EDD for them to reschedule and the Representative hung up on me . Reading the instructions says I should be able to reschedule from UI home page. But there is not a reschedule link or anything I can click on to reschedule. It’s so hard to deal with EDD to do anything.

@rainey yes you have to talk to tier 2 so they can do it I just been on hold for another hour & 30 minutes waiting to speak to a tier 3 representative

My call was dropped and when I replied yes to receive additional call backs they never called back what can I do? I don’t want to waste another $20
