FINALLY! After talking to about 6 reps in the last 2 weeks i got a nice rep, she removed my phone interview and submitted my backdate to 12/6/2020 she told me it typically can take 7 days for my weeks to show up maybe sooner so just monitor my account! Thanks Claimyr

How do I appeal?

From edd web, has to be mail You have the right to appeal the EDD's decision to reduce or deny you benefits. You must submit your appeal in writing within 30 days of the mailing date on the Notice of Determination and/or Ruling (DE 1080CZ). You can download the Appeal Form (DE 1000M) (PDF) or use the copy included with each Notice of Determination that you receive. Mail your appeal to the return address shown on the decision notice.

How long does it take to get scheduled for a phone interview? I was told I had to have one 3 weeks ago & still no scheduled time or date for the interview. They tier 1 I just spoke to said she believes they don’t have any funds left but transferred me to tier 2 so idk

I have seen a few people get told this by one rep but then they call back and are told something completely different I would definitely recommend calling back

I talked to a tier 2 rep and he said there’s nothing he can do cause I filled my claim August that if he was to backdate the claim it has to be august and not any month before august how true is that? I have a friend who also filed a claim august and already got a back pay. I think he just don’t want to help

This really a headache 🤦🏽‍♀️

It’s awful. Having to jump through hoops to get money that is actually owed to us. This can drive someone crazy. People need their money! Keep trying Dorothy. I’m not going to let them discourage me…. I’m owed that money and I will keep calling until I get it! Honestly Claimyr has been the best thing though. It’s impossible to get through on your own. I hope you’re having success getting through. Wishing you good luck!

UPDATE : I received my card today with ALL of my backpay posted to the card !!!! Just wondering if I got bad advice from the tier 2 rep I spoke to who said they can’t help me over the phone if I want to backdate my claim more than two months. I’m requesting to backdate to 12/06/2020 and have waited a little over two weeks since I properly requested via AskEDD. He said all I can do is wait for a response via AskEDD. Is this true? Has anyone been able to backdate over the phone more than two months since Sept. 4, and should I try to reach another tier 2 rep or just wait for an email/letter response?

Just wondering if I got bad advice from the tier 2 rep I spoke to who said they can’t help me over the phone if I want to backdate my claim more than two months. I’m requesting to backdate to 12/06/2020 and have waited a little over two weeks since I properly requested via AskEDD. He said all I can do is wait for a response via AskEDD. Is this true? Has anyone been able to backdate over the phone more than two months since Sept. 4, and should I try to reach another tier 2 rep or just wait for an email/letter response?

Called 9/7 for backdate , Got my backdate approved & Certified my weeks today 9/11 (wow I didn’t realize it was 9/11 🥺🙏) but I certified all my weeks got backdated til 1/17/21 , status is showing paid & I couldn’t be more proud . Thank you claim Yr❤️

All you did was pay $14.99 and you were able to talk to some one jada ?

First time using this! So they call you back and you still be on hold?

Correct. If you try to call on your own you will most likely get the message that they are unable to take your call because of call volume but with claimyr they continue to dial in until it allows them to hold and then they transfer the call to you.

Thanks Claimyr! I called to backdate my claim to April of this year and called this Tuesday 9/7 and spoke to a tier 1 rep. Called again the following day to make sure he had put in request and he said yes he was able to verify. My claim had been on pending for a couple of weeks prior to this because of name change and the reason that I filed for unemployment which I told them I had to voluntarily quit due to COVID reasons and had to take care of my sick mother. Yesterday I decided to call EDD to know my pending status and was told I had to have a “determination interview” to see if I would qualify for benefits and that would take anywhere between 2-3 months. What!! Well lo and behold just checked my UI online and all my weeks were there! Just certified every single one of them and said paid! Thanks again Claimyr! Hang in there guys you will get your stuff situated! Persistence is key
