Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Bottom line: file when you're eligible, don't file when you're not. Washington ESD doesn't care how many legitimate claims you've had in the past.
Simple and accurate advice.
Wish I'd known this earlier - I delayed filing my second claim because I was worried about it.
For what it's worth, I used Claimyr when I needed to check on my eligibility for a second claim last year. The agent I spoke with confirmed everything people are saying here - no limits on legitimate claims as long as you meet the requirements each time.
That's really helpful confirmation from an actual ESD agent. I feel much better about my situation now.
Yeah getting official confirmation from ESD directly is always the best approach.

At this point I'm just grateful Washington ESD exists at all. Could be worse - could be living in a state with no unemployment benefits.

Maybe, but I try to stay positive. Complaining doesn't make the process go faster.

Just had a thought - are you making sure to accept any suitable work offers? Washington ESD can deny benefits if they think you're being too picky about jobs, especially when unemployment is low.
The definition of 'suitable work' is pretty specific and includes factors like wages, working conditions, and your skills/experience. You're not required to take just any job, regardless of unemployment rates.
Good to know. I haven't actually gotten any offers yet so it's not an issue at the moment.
I'd definitely recommend trying that Claimyr thing to get through to Washington ESD. I used it a few weeks ago when my weekly claim got stuck and couldn't file online. Saved me from missing a week of benefits while trying to get through on the phone.

Final advice - keep filing your weekly claims even if your balance is getting low. Sometimes there are small adjustments or corrections that can add a few more weeks. And definitely stay on top of the Extended Benefits status in case it gets triggered.
