If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

One thing nobody mentioned - if you do end up on unemployment after workers comp, you might be eligible for extended benefits if you need retraining due to your injury. Washington has some good programs for people in your situation.

0 coins

That's good to know. I'll definitely look into retraining options when I'm ready.

WorkSource has career counselors who specialize in helping people transition after work injuries. Might be worth talking to them too.

0 coins

Bottom line - you can't collect both simultaneously, but you may be able to file for unemployment after your workers comp case closes and you're medically cleared to work. Just make sure you follow all the rules and document everything.

Perfect summary. Thanks everyone for all the helpful advice. I feel much more informed about my options now.

0 coins

Good luck with everything. Hope your recovery goes smoothly.

From what you described, you're probably approved and just waiting for the monetary determination. Keep filing weekly claims and check your account regularly. The money will show up once they finish the paperwork.

0 coins

Thank you everyone for all the help and reassurance. I feel much better about my situation now and know what to look for

0 coins

Glad we could help! Come back if you have any other questions as the process continues

Just wanted to add that if you do end up needing to call Washington ESD for any reason, that Claimyr service someone mentioned earlier really does work. Used it myself when I had an issue with my standby claim and got through immediately.

Good to know it's legit, I was a little skeptical at first but might give it a try if I need to call

0 coins

Yeah I was skeptical too but when you really need to talk to someone it's worth it. Beats sitting on hold all day

One more thing - make sure you file as soon as possible if you do get laid off. Benefits don't backdate to when you lost your job, they start from when you file your claim.

0 coins

Good tip! I'll remember that if the time comes.

0 coins

Yeah, I've seen people lose weeks of benefits because they waited to file thinking they'd find a job quickly.

This thread has been super helpful for understanding the requirements. The quarter system is weird but at least now I get how it works.

0 coins

Glad it was useful! The Washington ESD system is confusing but once you understand the basics it makes more sense.

0 coins

Definitely. Much clearer than trying to decode their official website explanations.

0 coins

One more question - does the program code affect how much you get paid or just how they categorize your claim?

0 coins

It's mostly for categorization, but different program codes can have different benefit amounts and duration limits. Code 10 follows standard state UI rules.

0 coins

That makes sense. Thanks for clarifying!

0 coins

At least we can all rest easy knowing our code 10 claims are normal. Now if only Washington ESD would make their whole system this easy to understand!

0 coins

Seriously! A simple FAQ about program codes would help so many people.

0 coins

Maybe they'll improve the user experience someday. Until then, at least we have forums like this to help each other out.

The bottom line is 26 weeks maximum for regular unemployment in Washington state. No state extensions currently available. Make sure you're actively job searching and filing your weekly claims on time. If you need to talk to Washington ESD about your specific situation, services like Claimyr can help you actually get through to someone instead of spending hours trying to call.

0 coins

Thanks everyone for all the information. This has been really helpful in understanding how the system works.

0 coins

Good luck with your job search! Hope you find something before your 26 weeks are up.

0 coins

One last tip - keep detailed records of your job search activities and all your weekly claim filings. If Washington ESD ever questions your eligibility or if you need to appeal something, having good documentation is crucial.

0 coins

Good point. I'll start keeping better records of everything.

0 coins

Yes, always keep records. Washington ESD can audit your job search activities at any time during your claim.
