The calculation seems correct based on what you've described. Focus on filing your weekly claims correctly and doing your job search activities. Those are more important than understanding every detail of the benefit calculation.
One last thing to check - make sure your monetary determination included wages from both of your part-time jobs. Sometimes if employers don't report correctly, one of your jobs might be missing from the calculation.
Just want to add that your benefit amount gets calculated automatically once you file your initial claim. You don't have to do the math yourself - Washington ESD will send you a monetary determination letter with your weekly benefit amount and how long you can collect.
IMPORTANT: Make sure you file your claim as soon as possible after becoming unemployed. In Washington you can't get benefits for weeks before you actually filed, even if you were eligible. Don't wait thinking you might find a job quickly.
fwiw i know someone who got a job right after the last wage increase. company said they were hiring because they expected more business from people having more spending money. its not all doom and gloom
Bottom line - you can't control wage policy but you can control your job search strategy. Focus on networking, tailoring your applications, and following up with employers. That's what will make the difference in your success.
Good luck OP! The process seems overwhelming at first but it's really not too bad once you get started. Just take it step by step and don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it.
One final reminder - make sure to file your weekly claims every week even if your initial claim is still being processed. You can't go back and claim weeks you missed, so don't skip any.

The system is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it. File your weekly claims on Sunday nights after midnight, keep your job search log updated, and respond quickly to any requests from Washington ESD. 26 weeks should give you enough time if you're actively looking.

Just want to add that if you have any issues with your claim or need to speak to someone at Washington ESD, that Claimyr service someone mentioned earlier really does work. I was skeptical at first but it saved me hours of waiting on hold when I had an adjudication issue.

•Seems like a few people have had good experiences with that. I'll keep it in mind if I run into any problems.

•Same here - used Claimyr when I had an overpayment notice I needed to discuss. Much better than the regular phone system.
