Congrats! Always nice to see good news. What was your filing date? And did you have any credits or anything that might have delayed processing?

Thanks!! I filed January 29th (literally the first day I could lol) and I claimed EIC. Had that stupid PATH Act delay but then it just stayed on N/A for weeks after Feb 15th. Started to think something was seriously wrong!

This is exactly why I always tell people to be patient with the IRS systems. They process in batches, and sometimes your return just gets caught in a later batch even if you filed early. The PATH Act holds are frustrating but necessary for the IRS to verify credit eligibility. Your timeline is actually pretty standard for EIC claims this season.

•" Standard is generous. The IRS is a disaster this year. I filed same day as OP and stillnothing.

I was in the exact same boat last month! Transcript showed N/A forever then suddenly updated. I couldn't figure out what all the codes meant though, so I used https://taxr.ai to analyze everything. It explained all those weird numbers and told me exactly when to expect my deposit. Was spot on! Made the whole process way less stressful once I understood what was happening.

•Does that actually work? I've seen it mentioned but wasn't sure if it was worth trying.

•Yeah, it really helped me understand what was going on. The IRS transcript has all these cryptic codes that make no sense, and the tool translates everything into plain English. Showed me exactly where my return was in the process and when to expect my money.

That's awesome! Mine just updated too after weeks of nothing. What cycle code did you get? Mine says 20240805 which I think means it processed on 2/22.

I've been stuck on N/A for over a month now. Called the IRS six times and couldn't get through. Finally used Claimyr (https://claimyr.com) to get past the busy signals - connected to an agent in about 15 minutes. Found out my return was just sitting in a backlog and needed manual review because of a small discrepancy with my W-2. They fixed it while I was on the phone and said I should see movement within a week.

•OMG I was considering calling too! The anxiety of not knowing what's happening is the worst part. I might try that service next time instead of just refreshing WMR like a crazy person 😂

•Definitely worth it! I spent hours trying to get through on my own before using them. The peace of mind from actually talking to someone who could help was worth every penny.

What's your DDD date? Is it actually 3/1 or 3/6? Sometimes people read the transcript wrong and the 846 code date isn't always the actual deposit date.

•It says 03-01-2024 next to code 846! I double checked like 5 times lol. Should hit my bank account Friday! 🙏
