SC State Refund: DDD 2/5 Still Not Deposited - Anyone Else Waiting?
Filed my South Carolina state return and got my direct deposit date for February 5th but still nothing in my account. Starting to get worried since its been a week now. Already double checked my banking info and its correct. Anyone else experiencing delays with SC state refunds?

SC tax specialist here - there's currently a backlog with state refunds. The DDD is more of an estimate than a guarantee. As long as your banking info is correct, you should see it within 10-14 business days from your DDD. If nothing by then, contact SC DOR directly.

Pro tip: call early morning right when they open. got through in 5 mins and they told me there was a verification hold that wasnt showing online
