IRS keeps rejecting my return even after fixing errors - what am I missing?
I've tried submitting my return 3 times now and keep getting rejected. First time they said my AGI was wrong so I fixed that. Then they rejected for my birthdate format. Fixed that too. Now its getting rejected again and I cant figure out why. Anyone else dealing with this? Getting super frustrated.

Tax preparer here - the most common rejection reasons right now are: incorrect prior year AGI, birthday formatting issues, name not matching SSA records exactly, and dependent information conflicts. Double check that your name matches your social security card EXACTLY - even a missing middle initial can cause rejection.

Check if you claimed any credits like EIC or CTC. Those are getting extra scrutiny this year and causing rejections if anything doesnt match up perfectly.

Did you try clearing your browser cache and starting fresh? Sometimes the tax software gets wonky if you've made multiple attempts.
