City Tax Offset - Will it come from State or Federal refund? Need help understanding offset letter
Got a letter about owing back city taxes and that there will be an offset but they didn't specify if its coming from my state or federal refund. Really confused about this whole thing and need to plan my finances. Anyone dealt with this before?

Your state refund would only be affected if your state has a similar program for city tax collection.
