I was advised to file for UI immediately after my last day of employment and I will be receiving severance for 3 months paid semi-monthly. At the time I filed for UI I did not mention I received the severance package because I have not received any payment yet until 04/15.  Would that affect my UI payment and what is the best course I should do ? Any advice would be very appreciated.
