Need help amending PFL claim - Can't reach an agent. Any tips?

Here's what I've learned after dealing with PFL for months: • Call early in the morning, like right when they open • If you get an automated message about high call volume, hang up and try again • Keep pressing 0 or saying "agent" at every prompt • Be prepared with all your info ready • If all else fails, try contacting your local representative's office Hope this helps someone! Have you tried faxing your amendment request? I know it sounds archaic, but it worked for me when I couldn't get through on the phone.

Pro tip: if you have a complex case, try to get transferred to a tier 2 specialist. They have more authority to make changes and solve problems.

Anyone else notice that the PFL website is always "under maintenance" when you actually need to use it? 🙄

I'm about ready to hire a lawyer to deal with this mess. Has anyone gone that route?
