EDD Payment Delays for Multiple Payments - Anyone Else Struggling?
Hey everyone, I'm having some serious issues with payment delays from EDD. I've been waiting for multiple payments and it's really starting to stress me out. I even paid for an express service to try and get through to someone, but I'm still waiting. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to speed things up or what I should do next?

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been dealing with payment delays for weeks now. It's like EDD is playing games with our lives. Have you tried calling them directly? It's a nightmare, but sometimes you can get lucky.

Calling them is like winning the lottery š° I've tried for days and can't get through. This system is so broken š¤

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 45 minutes on hold last week. Still sucks, but better than nothing.

Yeah, I've tried calling but no luck. It's so frustrating. I'll try the opening time trick, thanks for the suggestion!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this? Is it legit?

$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. EDD should do better.

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Sometimes you gotta spend money to make money, ya know? š¤·āāļø

Here's what I've learned after dealing with EDD for months: ā¢ Document everything. Keep a log of all your calls, emails, and payments received. ā¢ Check your UI Online account daily for updates. ā¢ If you get through to someone, ask for a reference number for the call. ā¢ Consider contacting your local assembly member's office. They can sometimes help push things through. ā¢ Be persistent but polite. The people on the phone aren't responsible for the delays. ā¢ Join Facebook groups or subreddits about EDD. Sometimes you can get good tips there. Hang in there, OP. I know it's tough, but you'll get through this.

I'm in the same boat, friend. Been waiting on payments for 2 months now. It's ridiculous how they expect us to survive like this. Sending good vibes your way š

2 months? That's insane! Have you tried reaching out to local news? Sometimes public pressure can help.

Hadn't thought of that... might give it a shot if things don't improve soon. Thanks for the idea!

Plot twist: EDD is actually run by sloths. That's why everything takes forever. š¦„š

Nah, sloths are cute. EDD is more like a bunch of internet explorer browsers trying to load a 4K video.

Has anyone else noticed that the payment delays seem to be worse for certain types of claims? I'm on PUA and it feels like we're always last in line.
