FAFSA website glitch preventing parent financial information entry - can't complete 2025-2026 application
I'm beyond frustrated with the new FAFSA system! I'm trying to complete applications for both my college kids, but the parent financial section keeps glitching out. Specifically, when I try to enter information about our checking/savings accounts, investments, and child support received, the fields either gray out or don't save the information. I click save and continue, but when I go back, the data is gone! Has anyone else encountered this issue with the 2025-2026 form? I've tried calling FSA multiple times (wait times over 2 hours before disconnecting), sent 3 emails with no response, and that useless virtual assistant just sends me in circles. This is my 4th year completing FAFSA applications, and I've never experienced problems like this before. The previous system worked fine - why did they have to "improve" something that wasn't broken? My kids' financial aid packages are going to be delayed because of these technical issues!

YES!! I'm having the EXACT same problem with my daughter's FAFSA! The stupid savings/investments fields keep resetting to zero even though I've entered the information correctly like 8 times. I also tried different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) and even my phone but nothing works. This new system is garbage. I miss the old one so much.

The new FAFSA is completely BROKEN. I work in college admissions and we've seen a 40% DROP in completed FAFSAs compared to last year because of these technical issues.
