If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

  • DO NOT post call problems here - there is a support tab at the top for that :)

One last thing - if you run into any issues with your claim or have questions you can't find answers to online, don't spend days trying to get through on the phone. I wasted so much time doing that before I found Claimyr. Sometimes you just need to talk to a real person to get things sorted out quickly.

Thanks for all the advice everyone! I feel much more confident about applying now. Going to gather my information this weekend and apply early next week.

Good luck! Remember to file your weekly claims on time once you're approved. You've got this!

Best of luck with your application! The restaurant industry has been tough lately so don't feel bad about needing to apply for benefits. That's exactly what the system is there for.

Thank you! I was feeling a bit embarrassed about it but you're right - that's what it's there for.

The 26 week thing surprised me because my sister in Oregon got like 30+ weeks during the same time period. Guess it varies by state.

Yes, each state sets their own duration and benefit amounts. Washington is pretty standard at 26 weeks. Some states do more, some do less.

At least our weekly benefit amounts are decent compared to some states. Could be worse I guess.

Thanks everyone for all the info! This thread should be pinned or something. Way more helpful than the Washington ESD website.

Agreed! I learned more here in 20 minutes than hours of trying to navigate their site.

The real MVPs are the people who take time to give detailed answers. Much appreciated!

Hope everyone gets their claims sorted out quickly. The uncertainty is the worst part of being unemployed - at least once you know your benefit amount you can plan your budget accordingly.

Absolutely! Thanks again to everyone who shared their experiences and advice.

You're very welcome! Feel free to post again if you run into any issues with your claim.

This has been one of the most helpful threads I've read about Washington ESD benefits. Bookmarking this for future reference!

Agreed! It's nice to have real information instead of just the confusing official websites.

Glad this helped everyone! Remember that Claimyr is always there if you need to actually talk to Washington ESD about your specific situation - sometimes you just need to speak with a real person to get things sorted out.

The scariest part is not knowing what jobs will be safe in the future. Even white-collar work isn't protected anymore with AI getting so advanced.

That's why it's important to focus on skills that complement technology rather than compete with it. Problem-solving, creativity, interpersonal skills.

0 coins

True, but it's hard to know what to train for when everything is changing so fast.

Just want to add that if you're filing for Washington ESD benefits after a tech layoff, make sure to keep good records of your job search. They're pretty strict about the work search requirements even though finding work in your field might be impossible now.

0 coins

As long as you're making a reasonable effort to find work, they're usually understanding about expanding your search beyond your previous field.

0 coins

Yeah just document everything - applications, networking events, even informational interviews count.

The maximum weekly benefit amount in Washington is pretty decent compared to other states - around $1,015 per week if you qualified for the highest amount. But that's before taxes. Still, 26 weeks of that is substantial support while job hunting.

0 coins

That would definitely help us stay afloat while he's looking. Hopefully his construction wages were high enough to qualify for a decent weekly amount.

Final piece of advice - start the job search immediately even before the first benefit payment arrives. The job market is competitive and 26 weeks can disappear quickly if you wait too long to get serious about finding work. Use every resource available including unemployment workshops and networking events.

Great advice. I think we were planning to take a week or two to decompress, but you're right that we should start immediately. Thanks everyone for all the helpful information!
