If I could give 10 stars I would
If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.
Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service
An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.
Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!
I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!
I'm so glad I found this thread! I'm actually waiting for my first EBT card to arrive in the mail and was getting nervous about potential issues, but reading through all these experiences and solutions has me feeling much more prepared. It's incredible how many helpful tips everyone has shared - from the activation process to testing at different stores to timing customer service calls. I'm definitely going to look for that activation sticker first thing and keep all the phone numbers handy. McKenzie, I really hope you got everything sorted out! And thank you to everyone who took the time to share their experiences - this is exactly the kind of community support that makes navigating these systems so much easier. I'm bookmarking this thread for sure! 🙏
Sean, you're so smart to read through all this before your card arrives! I wish I had found a resource like this when I was starting out. One more tip I'd add - when you get your card, take a photo of both sides (including that activation sticker) before you call to activate it. Sometimes the print on those stickers can be hard to read, and having a clear photo helps if you need to zoom in on the numbers. Also, don't stress too much - while these issues seem common, most cards do work fine once activated! McKenzie really struck gold with this thread - it's become like the ultimate EBT troubleshooting guide. Hope your card arrives soon and works perfectly on the first try! 🤞
Just wanted to jump in and say how amazing this thread has become! I've been dealing with EBT issues for years and honestly, this is the most comprehensive troubleshooting guide I've ever seen. McKenzie, your question sparked something really special here - everyone sharing their real experiences and practical solutions instead of just complaining about the system. I'm definitely saving this thread to share with friends who might run into similar issues. The tip about calling early morning/evening for shorter wait times is gold, and I love the idea of using the automated balance check as a diagnostic tool. Really hope your card is working now and you're fully stocked on groceries! This community showing up with so much genuine help just makes my day. 💪
Ruby, you're absolutely right about this becoming an incredible resource! As someone new to this community, I'm blown away by how everyone came together to help McKenzie with such detailed, practical advice. Reading through all these responses has taught me so much about navigating EBT issues that I never would have known otherwise. The progression from basic activation tips to advanced troubleshooting strategies is amazing - it's like a complete guide created organically by people who've actually been through these challenges. McKenzie, I really hope everything worked out for you, and thank you for asking the question that brought out all this collective wisdom! This is exactly the kind of supportive community that makes dealing with government systems so much less intimidating. 🙌
