Filed in February, certified weekly, still no payment from NY Unemployment. What am I missing?

Hey guys, I found a method to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes the emails from NYSDOL end up there. Also, log into your account and check for any outstanding tasks or messages. Sometimes they need additional info but don't make it obvious 🙄

I hate to be that guy, but are you sure you're eligible? Sometimes they approve you initially but then find an issue later. Happened to my cousin. Might want to double-check the requirements.

This might sound crazy, but have you tried faxing them? I know, I know, what year is it? But I swear, I faxed a letter explaining my situation and got a call back within a week. Sometimes old school works! 📠
