What are these images? Black cube with metal shavings and plain black t-shirt
Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out what these two images are showing. One looks like some kind of science experiment with a black cube and metal shavings, and the other is just a plain black t-shirt. Anyone know what the deal is with these? Are they related somehow or just random pics?

The first image is definitely showing magnetic field lines! It's a classic physics demonstration. The black cube is probably a strong magnet, and those metal filings are aligning with its magnetic field. Pretty cool stuff!

Oh yeah, I remember doing this in high school! It's crazy how you can actually see the invisible magnetic field like that. π§²π€―

Nerd alert! π€ But for real, this is pretty interesting. Anyone know if you can buy these kits somewhere? Might be fun to play with.

@profile 3 Yep, you can totally get these! Just search for 'magnetic field demonstrator' online. They're not too expensive and make for a cool desk toy.

lol why is there a random black t-shirt tho? π Is it supposed to be magnetic too or what?

Maybe its a really fancy t-shirt made with magnetic fibers π Imagine trying to take that off after playing with magnets all day!

Haha, no idea! That's why I'm asking. They just seemed so random together.

The black t-shirt is probably just there for scale or something. Or maybe it's made of some special material? OP, any context on where you saw these images?

I found a method to get someone on the phone about this. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/_kiP6q8DX5c

Wait, what? How is this related to the images? π€

$20 just to make a phone call? Sounds like a scam to me.

No scam, I promise! It's super helpful when you're dealing with long hold times. Saved me hours of waiting on the phone.

This seems kinda off-topic, but ngl I'm intrigued. How long did it take for them to get someone on the line?

@profile 10 It took about 45 minutes, but I didn't have to sit there listening to hold music the whole time. They called me when an agent was ready.

Am I the only one who thinks the t-shirt might be some kind of optical illusion? Like, maybe if you stare at it long enough, you'll see something? π

Bruh, I've been staring at it for 5 minutes now. Either I'm an idiot or you're messing with us π

Plot twist: the t-shirt is made of the same material as the cube, and if you put iron filings on it, it would create a full-body magnetic field pattern. π§²π Jk, that's probably not it, but how cool would that be?

Dude, you might be onto something! Imagine wearing that to a science fair, you'd be like a human magnetic field π
