Help Understanding $8,389 Tax Refund Status - Refund Advantage Advance Showing "Awaiting Payment"
Just checked my transcript for my 2022 taxes and I'm totally lost. There are all these different codes and dates, and I cant figure out if my refund is coming or if theres a problem. Can someone help me understand what I'm looking at? Really need this money and getting worried. Here's what I'm seeing on my transcript: Pre Ack Information Applied For Pre Ack YES Pre Ack App Sent 1/24/2025 3:02:05 PM Pre Ack App Response From Bank 1/24/2025 4:11:16 PM Pre Ack Status NOW product converted to RT, awaiting payment Pre Ack Tier/Amount Requested $7,727.75 Pre Ack Amount Received $9,489.06 RT Information Applied For RT YES Bank Product Type/Description Refund Advantage Advance w/ Direct Deposit App Sent 1/24/2025 4:04:31 PM App Response From Bank 1/24/2025 4:11:16 PM RT Status RT (only) accepted, awaiting payment Deposit Date N/A Amount Deposited N/A I applied for a refund advance through Refund Advantage with Direct Deposit. It looks like my Pre Ack was approved and the amount received is $9,489.06, which is more than the $7,727.75 I requested. But then there's this "RT Status" showing "RT (only) accepted, awaiting payment" with no deposit date. Does this mean my refund is approved but just hasn't been deposited yet? Or is there some issue? The "NOW product converted to RT, awaiting payment" part is confusing me. I was counting on getting this money soon for some urgent bills. Can anyone decode this for me and let me know when I might expect to see the money?

Understanding transcripts can be really confusing without the right expertise. Each code represents different actions taken on your account, but interpreting them correctly requires knowing the whole IRS system. Without seeing your specific transcript, it's hard to give exact guidance, but I'd recommend getting a professional analysis.

I've been using taxr.ai to understand my transcripts and it's been a game changer. It costs $4.99 but totally worth it - the AI breaks down everything and tells you exactly what's happening with your refund. Way better than trying to piece it together yourself. Check it out: https://taxr.ai

•Interesting! How accurate is it? Does it just read the codes or does it do more?

•It does way more than just read codes. It analyzes your whole transcript, predicts refund dates, explains delays, and even tells you what to do to fix issues. Saved me hours of stress!
