Filed 1/30, ID Verify needed but no letter received after a month - WMR stuck

Filed end of January and checked my account today. Got told I need to verify my identity. Called IRS and they said they mailed the verification letter February 29th. Its been almost a month and still no letter in my mailbox. Getting worried since I need this refund.

This is actually pretty common right now. You can try to verify your identity online at ID.me without waiting for the letter. Go to the IRS website and look for Identity Verification. You dont need the letter to do this step.
