I didn't even get an email I just went back on there and was able to certify

I got this same email on Sept 13 and still as of today Sept 23 nothing has updated or changed on my edd account. I was also told last week that this email means my backdate request is processing its been 10 days now and no updates it is frustrating

Go to https://askedd.edd.ca.gov/ ,  click on the Category "Unemployment Insurance Benefits,"  then click on the Subcategory "Claim Questions,"  then select the Topic "Backdate the Effective Date of my Claim Due to COVID-19" and  click "Continue" to fill out claim information and type "Backdate my claim to mm/dd/yyyy" in the space provided for the new claim to start immediately after the previous claim's ending date. After I submitted, I called Edd to make sure it was properly sent. If you call Edd, Claimyr is the best to save time and get Edd call fast.  Here is $5 discount link (Copy and paste this to the browser. )  https://join.claimyr.com/49a083 It will take about 2 weeks to be able to certify and get paid. Everyone seems slightly different.
