If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Anastasia, I completely agree! As another newcomer here, I'm amazed at how this community rallied around McKenzie's question. Reading through all these responses has been like getting a complete education on EBT troubleshooting - from basic activation all the way to identifying chip vs. swipe issues and even backup resources like food banks. The progression of advice has been incredible to follow! McKenzie, I really hope you found the solution that worked for you. This thread is definitely going to be a lifesaver for anyone facing similar card issues. It's so refreshing to find a community where people share real, practical solutions instead of just venting. Thank you for asking the question that brought out all this collective wisdom! 🙏

McKenzie, I'm really hoping you were able to get your card activated and working by now! This thread has become absolutely incredible - I've never seen such a comprehensive collection of troubleshooting advice come together so organically. As someone who's dealt with similar EBT issues before, I can totally relate to that frustration and embarrassment at the checkout line when your card doesn't work. Just to add one more potential solution - if you've tried activation and it's still not working, sometimes the issue is that your local office hasn't properly "released" your benefits to the card yet, even though they've issued it. This happened to me once where the card was activated but there was a processing delay on their end. A quick call to your local SNAP office (not the state EBT line) can usually resolve this. Also, don't feel bad about having to ask for help with this - the system really isn't as user-friendly as it should be! This community showing up with so much practical advice just proves how common these issues are. Really hoping you got those groceries and everything is running smoothly now! 🙏

Natasha, that's such an important point about the benefits not being "released" to the card yet! I hadn't heard of that specific issue before, but it makes total sense that there could be a processing delay on the office side even after activation. It's really helpful to know that calling the local SNAP office directly might be faster than going through the state EBT line for that kind of issue. McKenzie, I hope you didn't have to deal with that extra complication, but if activation didn't solve it, this could definitely be worth checking! This whole thread has been such an education - every comment seems to add another piece to the puzzle of navigating these systems. It's amazing how much collective knowledge this community has shared. Really crossing my fingers that you got everything sorted out quickly! 🤞
