Accidentally requested payment reimbursement - now don't need it. What to do?

Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle. I requested a payment reimbursement but now I don't need it anymore. Has anyone been in this situation before? What should I do? I'm worried about messing up my account or causing delays for future payments. Any advice would be really appreciated!

I've been there before! It's not as complicated as you might think. Just call them and explain the situation. They should be able to cancel the reimbursement request if it hasn't been processed yet. If it has, you might need to pay it back, but don't worry too much about it affecting future payments.

Thanks for the advice! I'll give them a call tomorrow. Fingers crossed it hasn't been processed yet 🤞

Ugh, their customer service is the worst. I tried calling them last week and was on hold for 3 hours before giving up. Anyone know a better way to get through?

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Wait, you paid money to get through to them? That seems kinda sketchy...

I know it sounds weird, but it's legit. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

Can confirm, I've used this too. It's a lifesaver when you're desperate to talk to someone

Pro tip: document EVERYTHING. Take screenshots, write down who you talked to and when. The system is so broken, you need to cover your own back

have you tried checking your online account? sometimes you can cancel stuff there without having to call

I looked but couldn't find anything about cancelling a reimbursement request. Maybe I'm just blind lol

Honestly, the whole system is a joke. I've been dealing with payment issues for months now. It's like they want us to give up and go away 🙄

Here's what you need to do: 1. Call first thing in the morning when they open. Less wait time. 2. Have your account number and all relevant info ready. 3. Be polite but firm. Explain your situation clearly. 4. Ask for a confirmation number or email for the cancellation. 5. Follow up in a week if you don't see any changes. If they've already processed it, don't panic. They might be able to apply it to future payments or give you instructions on how to return it. Just be honest about the mistake and they're usually understanding. Remember, these things happen more often than you'd think. You're not the first and won't be the last. Good luck!
