Check with your doctor if your doctor did ID verification with ID.me. This is what EDD posted the new changes; "Purported medical providers must complete further identity verification with ID.me to potentially certify any disability claims. These personalized requests for medical provider verification through ID.me only come from an official EDD email address ending in @edd.ca.gov. Medical providers who receive emails with information about how to verify identity through ID.me should carefully confirm the sender’s @edd.ca.gov email address. Scammers attempt to impersonate government agencies in an attempt to trick people into clicking fake links. Such scam efforts are unfortunately common and slow verification and payment for legitimate claimants and providers.:

Jung Jung, this was very helpful! The EDD rep confirmed that the sudden stop in payments is not due to any requirements of the patient's medical status instead, the Doctor's office must respond to EDD for authentication of their practice. I contacted and communicated the above information (copy/paste) in summary to my Doc's office (via portal). Then followed up with a call that they have received my message. Let's see how it progresses 🤲🏼
