If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

This discussion has been absolutely invaluable for someone like me who's completely new to understanding IRS transcripts! I just received my first transcript last week and was completely overwhelmed by all the different codes - I had no clue what any of them meant and was worried I might have made some serious mistake on my return. Tom's incredibly detailed explanations of the progression from code 424 (flagged for review) through 420 (review completed) to 421 (officially closed) have been such a lifesaver. It's so reassuring to learn that these codes follow a logical process and that seeing a 424 doesn't automatically mean you're in trouble or being audited. Keisha's real-world example of her code changing from 424 to 420 within just a week really helps put the timeline into perspective and shows how routine these reviews can be. As a complete newcomer to this community, I'm amazed by how generous everyone is with sharing their knowledge and how patient you all are in explaining these complex government processes in language that's easy to understand. This is exactly the kind of supportive environment that makes navigating these intimidating systems so much more manageable. Thank you all for creating such a welcoming space for people like me who are just starting to learn about these processes!

•Welcome to the community, Isabella! I'm also brand new here and can completely relate to that overwhelming feeling when first encountering IRS transcript codes. Like you, I had no idea what any of those codes meant and immediately assumed the worst when I saw them on my transcript. This entire thread has been such a game-changer for understanding that these codes are actually part of routine IRS processes rather than signs of trouble. Tom's step-by-step explanations have been incredibly helpful, and seeing real examples like Keisha's experience really drives home that these situations often resolve quickly and smoothly. What strikes me most about this community is how welcoming everyone is to newcomers - there's no judgment for not knowing these things, just genuine helpfulness in sharing knowledge. It's such a relief to find a place where we can ask questions and get clear, accurate information about these government processes that can feel so intimidating when you're facing them alone. Looking forward to learning alongside you and other newcomers in this supportive environment!

As a newcomer to this community, I can't thank everyone enough for this incredibly thorough discussion! I just got my first IRS transcript in the mail yesterday and was completely confused by the codes - especially when I saw a 424 on there. I honestly had no idea what it meant and my first instinct was to panic, thinking I'd somehow messed up my tax return. But after reading through Tom's detailed explanations and seeing how Keisha's situation progressed so smoothly from 424 to 420, I feel so much more at ease. It's amazing how something that initially seemed so alarming actually follows a very logical review process. What really stands out to me is how patient and knowledgeable this community is - there's no judgment for not understanding these processes, just genuine willingness to help newcomers like me learn. This is exactly the kind of supportive environment I was hoping to find when dealing with these government systems that can feel so overwhelming. Thank you all for making this such a welcoming space to learn and ask questions!
