Wrote a letter explaining the situation 4. Sent it all via certified mail with return receipt 5. Followed up with phone calls (be persistent!) It took a few weeks, but they eventually sorted it out. Don't let them push you around!

Have you checked your FTB online account? Sometimes they update info there before sending notices.

Guys, I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's the link: https://www.claimyr.com

OP, whatever you do, DON'T ignore this. It'll only get worse if you do. Trust me, I learned the hard way 😭

have you tried faxing your docs? sometimes that gets faster results than snail mail

Just a heads up, there was a glitch in the FTB system last month that caused a bunch of false flags for missing insurance. Might be worth mentioning when you get through to them.
