SDI Unreachable for a Week - Any Success Stories or Tips?
I've been trying to get in touch with SDI for almost a week now and still can't reach anyone. It's so frustrating! Has anyone else had this problem lately? Any tips on how to actually get through to a real person?

I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's what I've learned after dealing with SDI for months: 1. Persistence is key. Keep calling. 2. Try different times of day. Early morning or late afternoon can be better. 3. Be prepared with all your info when you do get through. 4. If you get a unhelpful rep, politely end the call and try again. 5. Use the online portal as much as possible for simple stuff. 6. Document EVERYTHING. Names, dates, call reference numbers. 7. If all else fails, contact your local representative's office. Hope this helps someone. Stay strong, folks!

Pro tip: if u get put on hold, put ur phone on speaker and go about ur day. I cleaned my entire apartment, made dinner, AND watched a movie before someone picked up. At least I was productive while waiting 🤷♀️
