EDD Payment Paused and Not Posting - Need Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with a paused payment. It's been a while and the payment still hasn't posted to my account. I've been waiting for hours now trying to get through to someone on the phone. Anyone else dealing with this? Any advice on how to speed things up or what I should do next?

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been dealing with paused payments for weeks now. It's so frustrating! Have you tried checking your online account for any updates or messages?

Yeah, I've been refreshing my account page like crazy. No new info there either. It's like they just forgot about us 😤

Same boat here. The system is so broken, idk how they expect us to survive like this

It's ridiculous. We need to eat and pay bills. They can't just leave us hanging like this!

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

$20 just to talk to someone? That's highway robbery!

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Sometimes you gotta spend money to make money, ya know?

How long did it take for them to call you back?

It took about 2 hours for me, but I've heard it can vary depending on how busy they are. Still way better than trying to call yourself all day!

Have you tried reaching out on social media? Sometimes they respond faster there. Worth a shot!

Here's what I've learned from dealing with paused payments: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of when you notice the pause, any communication attempts, and responses. 2. Check your spam folder regularly. Sometimes important emails end up there. 3. If possible, try to have some emergency funds set aside for situations like this. 4. Keep trying different contact methods - phone, email, social media, even snail mail if you have to. 5. Reach out to your local representative. They sometimes can help push things along. 6. Be persistent but polite. The person you finally reach probably isn't responsible for the delay. Hang in there, OP. It's a frustrating process, but keep at it!

Have you checked if there's any pending identity verification or additional documentation they need? Sometimes that can hold things up.

This is why we need to overhaul the entire system. It's not equipped to handle the volume of claims, especially during economic downturns. We should be writing to our representatives about this!
